Swedish energy company Tethys Oil is gearing up for potential commercial success in two oil & gas blocks it operates in Oman. The firm, known for its revenues from non-operated Blocks 3&4 concession, is now focusing on exploring Blocks 56, 49, and 58 in Dhofar Governorate.

QatarEnergy has announced that it is proceeding with a new LNG expansion project, the 'North Field West' project, to further raise the State of Qatar’s LNG production capacity to 142 mn tons per annum (MTPA) before the end of this decade, representing an increase of almost 85% from current production levels
