ProSep will supply four injection mixer units to a Middle East NOC
The company will supply ProMix, its latest inline injection mixing assembly unit for liquid-liquid mixing, to the NOC. According to the manufacturers, designed as an alternative to inline static mixers, the ProMix injection section of this unit can inject multiple chemicals and provide evenly distributed feed to its downstream mixing section, resulting in high mixing efficiency and reduced chemical usage.
Describing the features of the product, ProSep CFO and head of operations Mahesh Konduru said, “The ProMix technology generates homogeneous and moderate shear force to the dispersed phase across the cross section of the main flow, providing a narrow uniform droplet size distribution, significantly increasing interfacial contact area, enhancing mass transfer between different flows, and meanwhile preventing formation of an emulsion.”
