WorleyParson signs contract extension with Saudi Aramco

Australian services company WorleyParsons has received a two-year contract extension from Saudi Aramco, the company sources announced

The Maintain Potential Programme (MPP) contract covers a portfolio of offshore green and brownfield projects and includes a full suite of engineering and project management services for the Saudi Arabian oil and gas firm.

WorelyParsons has held a Saudi Aramco contract for the past 11 years and this announcement marked the fourth extension of the deal.

The company said that under the contract it had carried out the project management, engineering, design, fabrication and installation supervision of more than 45 platforms, upgraded 100 existing platforms and installed more than 180km of subsea pipelines and submarine cables.

It added that it had also carried out the hook-up of over 300 wells under the contract with Saudi Aramco.
