Tenaris and Sandvik Materials Technology extend long-standing alliance

Tenaris and Sandvik are extending their alliance of nearly 20 years with the signing of a new five-year agreement for the supply of OCTG with premium connections and specialty steel alloys, including CRAs, to serve the oil and gas market 

The strategic partnership between Tenaris and Sandvik started in 2003 to add value to the oil and gas industry through joint research, product development, and the manufacture of specialised tubular solutions for demanding applications. The renewed agreement combines Sandvik’s expertise in material technology and the development of corrosion-resistant steel alloys with Tenaris’s excellence in the manufacture of high-quality, high-performing OCTG and premium connections with Dopeless technology.
