Sulzer has expanded its flow equipment manufacturing plant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to meet the growing demand for infrastructure development in the region
The expansion includes a new assembly and packaging area, warehouse and headcount increase, as well as new office space, bringing the facility to 13,127 sq m and 215 employees.
With Saudi Vision 2030 catalysing numerous multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sulzer has recently expanded its centrifugal pump manufacturing and testing facility located in Riyadh, to help meet demand across all sectors. The expanded facility features new overhead cranes to accommodate assembly, packaging and performance testing of some of the largest pumps in the Sulzer portfolio. It also offers the full range of aftermarket services for all Sulzer and Saudi Pump Factory products, including repairs, spare parts, and retrofit solutions.

As the first complete manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia, Sulzer Saudi Pump Company (SSPC) has been operating since 1994, joining Sulzer’s global manufacturing network in 2015.
