Iran’s daily oil and condensate exports is expected to reach two million barrels by the end of this month, Mohsen Ghamsari, director of international affairs at National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), revealed
Tehran has started selling new consignments of the condensate, Ghamsari said, adding in comparison with crude oil, condensate sells slowly, Oil Ministry’s official SHANA news agency reported.
He further forecasted that in the future Iran’s condensate consignments will be sold faster than crude oil.
Iran exported 1.75mn bpd per day between 21 January and 19 February, indicating an increase by 400,000 bpd year-on-year, Iranian oil minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh had said earlier.
Previously, Iran also announced that the country’s crude export in February reached 1.4mn bpd, forecasting that the figure will stand at 1.5mn bpd to 1.56mn bpd by March this year. In mid-February, Iran loaded its first cargo of oil to Europe since international sanctions ended in January.
