Oman’s Renaissance Services has announced that its has sold its oilfield maintenance services unit Topaz Oil and Gas to UK-based Interserve for US$46mn
The support services and construction group bought the UAE-based business in order to help its expand its presence across the Middle East, a company statement said, having previously made acquisitions in Qatar.
Adrian Ringrose, chief executive officer of Interserve, said, “Interserve sees the Middle East oil and gas services sector as a key growth market and this acquisition establishes our presence in the UAE.”
