Caterpillar Oil & Gas highlighedt its ongoing commitment to a growing digital portfolio at ADIPEC, the theme of its exhibit being Connecting for Success
With Cat® dealer Al-Bahar, Caterpillar showcased the technology that keeps its customers connected to its assets, contributing to their overall success.
The Caterpillar exhibit at ADIPEC will feature the partnership with GTUIT, a manufacturer of mobile gas treatment systems. Caterpillar and GTUIT are collaborating to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions designed to create customer value by treating associated gas from production wells. This reduces emissions from flaring and by conditioning pipeline fuel gas to drastically reduce compression fuelling costs.
Caterpillar will also introduce Smart Engine Management System (SEMS) at the show. SEMS is the latest engine and generator controller algorithm developed by Caterpillar exclusively for land electric drilling rigs to efficiently manage the number of engines required to meet rig power demands.
In addition, Caterpillar will highlight Cat Connect technology. “Cat Connect is the industry’s broadest suite of integrated equipment and asset management services and solution offerings. It integrates products, processes and people like never before, meeting operational needs of any size, type or complexity.” said Mark Kingsley, sales manager for Caterpillar Oil & Gas. “Cat Connect turns data into information for our customers in order to operate more efficiently, ultimately reducing owning and operating costs.”
“Our exhibit at this year’s ADIPEC show will help our customers fully realise the benefits of our new technologies. We are committed to showing how we collaborate with our Global Cat dealer network and with Cat Connect we keep our customers' assets connected – reducing their costs and significantly reducing downtime,” states Kingsley.
“We understand the petroleum industry is encountering unique challenges, and we are prepared to assist our customers navigate through the uncertainty with solutions to help them succeed,” said Mohamed El Kaddour, general manager – Energy & Transportation Division at Al-Bahar.
Caterpillar will exhibit on Stand #9430 at ADIPEC, which takes place from 13-16 November in Abu Dhabi.
