Oilfield service provider Archer has announced that it is expanding its coverage in the Middle East with the opening of three new facilities
The facilities include two in the UAE, with its headquarters in Dubai and a downhole tool repair centre in Jebel Ali. A country office is also now located in Doha, Qatar.
Olivier Muller, president of emerging markets & technologies at Archer, said, “In recent years we have witnessed an increased interest in our range of well integrity and well intervention products and services throughout the Middle East and we anticipate this that region is a major growth area for us.
“This expansion will allow us to increase our efficiency whilst also helping to build existing and potential relationships across the region.”
The Dubai office will act as a central hub for carrying out work with existing and potential customers, more specifically those in Africa, Middle East and South-East Asia, the company said.
The Jebel Ali’s downhole tools repair centre is expected to provide technical expertise to enhance its operations.
