Alderley FZE, a manufacturer of oil and gas equipments, has completed Phase 2 of its facilities and production expansion at the 10,000 square metres plot in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai
The new office building was inaugurated on 13 March 2013 and has increased potential workspace capacity by 75 per cent.
The building now includes dedicated training facilities, additional meeting rooms, IT infrastructure and associated facilities.
The new building would also include a number of sustainable design strategies which would be submitted to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) committee for certification.
Phase 3 of the facilities and production expansion has also commenced. The project is due to be completed at the end of May 2013 and is expected to increase in-house production capacity by 40 per cent, according to the company.
Mike Shepherd, general manager of Alderley, said, “Our new larger offices will allow the company the expansion capacity to respond to the continued growth and success we have experienced in the region.”
Alderley CEO Chris McGeehan added, “Alderley is dedicated to providing a world engineering facility to both our clients and employees and this investment by Alderley plc demonstrates our commitment to the development of the Middle East and beyond.”
