Bahrain has awarded a seven-year contract to Occidental Petroleum Corp. (OXY) to explore for natural gas deposits in the country, Abdul Hussain Mirza, the countrys oil minister said.

RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) has successfully delivered the first Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) cargo to Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) as part of a new LNG purchase agreement.

Technip was awarded a contract by Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning assistance of their Gas and Condensate Export System project.

RasGas has agreed to sell Korea Gas Corp (Kogas) an additional 2mn tonnes a year of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for the next 20 years.
