Yemen has invited international firms to bid for 15 offshore, onshore oil and gas exploration blocks, the countrys oil ministry has announced
The Ministry added that the firms that wanted to participate could submit their letters of intent by 20 April 2013 for the 10 offshore and five onshore blocks on offer.
Earlier this month, Yemen accepted bids from nine oil companies to operate five onshore and offshore blocks. Those selected include Hunt Oil Company, Circle Oil, Pakistan Oil Fields and Guney Yildizi Petroleum.
