The drilling of the first seven wells of South Pars Phases 17 and 18, which have a production capacity of 15mn cubic metres of gas, has been completed
Hassan Boyeri, director for development of South Pars (SP) Gas Field Phases 17 and 18, said that the first part of the offshore drilling operations in this development project was completed after the conclusion of final tests and was now ready to use.
"The seven drilled wells have a gas production capacity of 15mn cubic metres per day," adding that a new and specified time schedule has been designed for these two phases in order to achieve early development of the offshore section.
Meanwhile, a 230km pipe-laying project for development of South Pars Phase 19 came to an end.
Hamidreza Massoudi, director of South Pars Phase 19 development project, said, "The pipe-laying operations of the second SP19 sour gas 32-inch pipeline for transfer of the gas produced in offshore platforms of the project from Gulf waters to the onshore processing unit are now completed."
"At present the pipe-laying operations of the second 32-inch sour gas pipeline and glycol 4-inch pipeline from the onshore processing unit to the site of the production platforms with a length of 115 km are now completed," Massoudi added.
