MEOS to be held after 2021

Event News

The Middle East Oil and Gas Show (MEOS), which was scheduled to take place from 28 November – 1 December at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, will be postponed until after 2021

The MEOS team anticipates the announcement of the new dates to be during September 2021.

After extensive consultation with our partners such as the National Oil and Gas Authority, the society of petroleum engineers and informa markets, we’ve decided to postpone MEOS 2021 as several countries and companies have significant travel restrictions in place which are unlikely to lift until next year. Despite the excellent trajectory of recovery that Bahrain is making out of the COVID 19 crisis, we must be mindful that some of our very valued communities are currently unable to travel, stated MEOS team

As event organisers we have worked day and night to deliver the best edition of the show in its 40-year history. We added new features like the genius Talks, consultation clinics, start up village and the live labs which were set to deliver a new and enhanced visitor experience.

We sincerely thank all our stakeholders and partners for their support of MEOS and of this decision and we look forward to bringing the community back together as soon as possible, concluded the MEOS team

It follows the postponement of the Middle East Geosciences Conference and Exhibition (GEO) that was set to take place from 4-7 October 2021 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. This will also be postponed to a date after 2021.
