The third Erbil International Oil & Gas Exhibition, from 2-5 September 2013, will attempt to showcase the growing number of business opportunities for oil and gas companies in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq
According to industry sources, Erbil has great potential owing to its unexplored reserves and geographical advantage it offers for export facilities. The Kurdistan Regional Government has also acted to encouraged foreign investment by offering incentives and legal guarantees to all international investors.
Government asssociates, engineers and decision makers from global oil companies, construction sector, engineering construction and contracting services, financial services, project consultancy, repair services, trade associations, transportation, storage and handling attended the show last year.
The second Erbil Oil & Gas Exhibition concluded on the 6 September 2012 with 51 exhibitors and 5,000 visitor numbers.
The same attendance is expected for this year's event, sources added.
