Iran to launch licensing round by the end of February

The Iran LNG and Gas Summit, hosted on 14-16 February in Frankfurt will be the official platform in Europe for governmental executives to engage with the oil and gas companies and hear updates directly from top officials involved in these future projects

A number of companies have now been approved to tender for oil and gas projects in Iran. According to the Middle East Oil and Gas Monitor, Tehran also plans to launch a licensing round by the end of February, with contracts to develop giant and supergiant oil and gas fields and exciting news suggests the report of additional shale gas reserves in Iran.

With an excellent speaker line up including HE Dr. Amir Hossein Zamaninia (Ministry of Petroleum), HE Hamid Reza Araqhi (NIGC), HE Dr. Gholamreza Manouchehri (NIOC) and many other government institutions the international support is high with sponsors from: Shell, GTT, Rante, Tehran Raymand, SAGE Middle East to India and RSK.
