Oxford Flow, the flow control equipment specialist for energy, water and industrial process industries, has reported impressive headcount growth of 42% over the last 12 months as the company eyes international expansion across EMEA and North America

Based in Cairo, Egypt, Amir Basha joins as the MENA business development manager, where he will drive the growth of the company’s innovative valve technology, following successful trials with an Oman water utility and Europe’s largest gas processing facility. Benny McCallum takes up the role of business development manager for Europe and Central Asia, and with deep domain knowledge in the valve and regulator industry his expertise will bolster Oxford Flow’s roster of sector heavy weights.

Neil Poxon, CEO at Oxford Flow, commented, “Our international expansion is critical to our next stage of growth. With North America quickly becoming our fastest growing region, Mike’s appointment is key to continue to expand our network. We are seeing trends both in North America and further afield for smart valve technology that increases reliability and efficiency whilst reducing environmental impact.”

In addition to the international appointments, Rob Winlow steps into the new role of vice-president of engineering to drive technology development and scale up manufacturing. The appointments follow several technology milestones for the company, including outstanding results for ES valve in fugitive emissions testing and the IM valve being accepted onto a framework agreement with SGN.

Poxon added, “As these markets decarbonise, they demand technologies that optimise operations from a reliability, cost and environmental perspective. Even smaller elements, like valves or regulators, can make a huge impact on the efficiency of plants, rigs and distribution networks.”
