OneSubsea wins US$80 million contract for project offshore Egypt

OneSubsea has been awarded a subsea supply contract worth US$80mn for BP-led East Nile Delta END-3 development offshore North El Burg concession in Egypt

Awarded by Pharaonic Petroleum Company (PhPC), the scope of supply for the four-well systems includes subsea production equipment, wet gas flow metres, installation of high-integrity pressure protection system (HIPPS) and operational spares.

Situated around 70km offshore Egypt, END-3 is an expansion of the Taurt development to which OneSubsea had supplied equipment in 2006, the company said.

Scott Rowe, CEO of OneSubsea, said, “The Taurt development has been extremely successful and we look forward to being a part of this continuing success and furthering our relationship with PhPC.”
