Halliburton announced that it has surpassed deploying 500 SmartWell completion systems in more than 26 countries through WellDynamics, its business group, and considers the event a major achievement.
"This 500th SmartWell completion is an illustration of the operators' acceptance of SmartWell systems as a standard completion design option," said Jerry Wauters, Halliburton's vice president for Completion Tools.
"The milestone is also indicative of our significant competitive advantage in delivering increased reservoir productivity and maximum recovery to our customers."
Halliburton, one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry, employs more than 50,000 employees in approximately 70 countries and serves the upstream oil and gas industry throughout the lifecycle of the reservoir.
