Houston-headquartered Fairfield Geotechnololgies has announced to begin an extensive Z700 acquisition project in the Gulf

Beginning in December 2018, the eight-month project in the Middle East aims to provide a significant 4D opportunity for Fairfield Geotechnologies.

Charles Davison, president and CEO of Fairfield Geotechnologies, said, “The Gulf represents tremendous opportunity for OBN acquisition.”

Fairfield Geotechnologies’ Z700 data acquisition system is designed to meet the challenging HSE and acquisition requirements of this project.

“This project has a complex and ecologically sensitive sea floor, crowded infrastructure and demanding geophysical objectives. We have the technology, the operational experience and the node inventory to make this project a success,” Davison concluded.

Fairfield Geotechnologies designs and manufactures a complete range of cable-free ZLand® and ZMarine® systems and provides expert marine acquisition and data processing services. In addition to it, the company continues to expand licensing coverage in the Lower 48 through focused investment and strategic acquisition of existing multi-client libraries.
