Coretrax opens new office in UAE capital

Engineered servicing company for wellbore clean and abandonment, Coretrax, has opened an office in Abu Dhabi, its fourth in the Middle East region, with an investment of US$2mn

The office currently has a team of four and this is expected to grow to 14 within the next 12 months. The company also has plans to expand to another office and warehouse later in the year.

This latest expansion signifies the next step in Coretrax’s plans to penetrate the Middle East and comes as the company announces the appointment of UAE-based agent SAMCO to represent Coretrax in Abu Dhabi.

John Fraser, global business development director at Coretrax, said, “Having a permanent local presence in Abu Dhabi allows us to continue to surpass client expectations by offering a superior service and enables us to build on our customer base.”

Coretrax, established in 2008, offers a wide range of downhole tools and services with applications across the well lifecycle and has bases in Saudi Arabia and Dubai. The company also has a base in Ebril, Iraq, and a team of 14 is currently employed across the Middle East.
