HB Rentals has signed three deals worth a total of US$1mn in the GCC and Middle East this year
Hercules Offshore awarded HB Rentals a six to 12-month contract for its Amber Jack self-propelled jack-up barge. The deal will see the company provide four, eight-man accommodation modules as well as services including installation, power generation and sewerage systems.
"The new contract wins are testament to our growing success across the GCC and the Middle East since establishing our presence here just over a year ago. We are delighted to have won such significant contracts that were put out to competitive tender," said director of sales and business development at HB Rentals, Michael Bradley. "Our focus moving forward will be continuing to deliver outstanding quality of product as well as service to our customers, ensuring that we remain the accommodation specialists of choice in the region.

The second new contract award was from Abu Dhabi-based National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), comprising of a six-month rental agreement for four accommodation modules including modular stairways and walkways.
The final contract was awarded by MacDermott International. The contract included accommodation modules, toilets and offices for the carousel deck of a barge.
