LogiPoint has entered into an agreement with Aramco Chemicals Company (ACC) to provide export logistics services from its Bonded and Re-Export Zone (BRZ) adjacent Jeddah Islamic Port

With the extensive support from Saudi Customs and Jeddah Islamic Port to re-engineer for the export process, this agreement provides ACC with a strategic export logistics hub that helps eliminate the need to use an intermediary overseas hub for the storage and shipping of their cargo, according to LogiPoint.

By shipping the cargo directly to the target market, it reduces the export processing time from one week to one day, thereby increasing the demand and appeal for Saudi products, the company added.

This agreement is in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NDLIP) under the supervision of the Saudi logistics hub, which seeks to develop economic growth in the kingdom beyond dependence on the oil industry, and will open new doors and economic opportunities within the kingdom, providing Saudi-based companies with enhanced access across the globe.

The BRZ spread more than one million sq m in Jeddah is an example of the type of customer-centric integrated logistics service area that LogiPoint has pioneered in the kingdom, giving its customers the advantage of saving up to eight days of shipping via Jeddah and re-exporting without the need to pay for customs.

LogiPoint (a subsidiary of Saudi Industrial Services Co – SISCO), a Saudi joint stock company listed on Tadawul, is a logistics business and BRZ in Saudi Arabia.
