Process optimisation search engine from AspenTech

Aspen Technology introduced search for process optimisation, Aspen Search, that enables engineers to find the right models and plant data in seconds.

As Manolis Kotzabasakis, Executive Vice President, Products, AspenTech said: “Aspen Search combines the speed of today’s popular search engines with the intelligence of all the institutional process knowledge stored in a customer’s organization. Our customers can now solve design, operational and business problems faster, while improving collaboration across the enterprise.”

Aspen Search can help companies reduce capital and operating costs by quickly identifying the right model and related process data across all of the organization’s intellectual assets. Engineers can quickly review models and related information without opening them in a simulator, improving engineering efficiency.

Aspen Search also improves reliability and design by making it easy to share proven models and best practices. With quick access to process knowledge and company experts, engineering teams can reduce duplication of effort and maximise reuse of assets.

Aspen Search is available immediately for the latest V7.3 releases of Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Plus.
