DST and MapR announce tie-in to offer big data solutions

Data Science Technologies (DST) has partnered with MapR Technologies, distributor for Apache Hadoop, to offer cutting-edge technologies to address Big Data challenges for business critical applications including oil and gas

As part of the agreement, DST will market and offer the MapR Enterprise Edition, MapR Enterprise Database Edition and the MapR Sandbox for Hadoop in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman to help enterprise customers quickly and effortlessly capture critical big data insights.

DST sales manager Shashi Kanth said, “Enterprises in the business of data have the most to gain from the MapR Distribution including Apache Hadoop.
