US Chiller Services (USCS) announced that it has won a contract from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for the operation and maintenance of three district cooling plants located in Ruwais City
As per the contract, USCS will be responsible for the complete operation, maintenance, services and energy optimisation of the three chilled water plants for five years beginning 1 March 2019.
The three plants have a total installed capacity of 26,000 tonnes of electric driven centrifugal chillers.
The company stated that the re-commissioning/retro-commissioning services began immediately after the plants were awarded to ensure the reliability of chiller and ancillary equipment and optimum efficiency.
Al Shirawi US Chiller Services, a joint venture between Dubai-based Al Shirawi Group and US Chiller Services, has been providing chiller services and energy solutions in the Gulf since 2001.
It provides specialised services for large tonnage centrifugal chillers, liquid chillers and energy solutions, as well as operation and maintenance services for the district cooling industry.
The company specialises in repairing, maintaining, retrofitting and servicing all OEM makes and models of large tonnage chillers ranging from 200 tonnes to 10,000 tonnes.
