Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) has a major presence the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) this year, where the company shares insights and expertise with the leading global companies and executives in the energy sector
“SNOC being showcased at ADIPEC is part of Sharjah’s vision to promote its flagship energy player in the domestic and international energy markets, and to provide our knowledge, experience and best-practice expertise to other players in the energy sector,” said Sheikh Al Qasimi, chairman of SNOC.
Sheikh Al Qasimi also pointed to the UAE’s influential position within global oil and gas markets and ADIPEC’s own reputation in attracting the leading global decision-makers and industry experts.
“SNOC complements the positive role the UAE plays in creating sustainable and secure energy supply for the development of domestic and international energy markets,” he said.
In line with the UAE’s strategic vision, SNOC is on task to develop several major projects including the commencement of drilling for Sharjah onshore, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) projects for internal markets and ensuring sustainable energy supply through various liquified natural gas (LNG) initiatives.
“SNOC’s strong presence at ADIPEC this year is part of the company’s keenness to showcase its key energy projects (Drilling exploration well, LNG, 2018 Sharjah License Round) and its commitment to keep up with latest trends and technology in the global energy space through participation and collaboration,” said Hatem Al Mosa, CEO of Sharjah National Oil Corporation.
“As Sharjah’s national oil company, we work closely with global industry players and experts to implement the UAE’s and Sharjah’s strategic vision. SNOC’s presence at major events like ADIPEC is a clear indication of showcasing and strengthening the corporation’s own future vision,” he added.
Al Mosa noted the company’s various projects and it’s continuous expansion as an energy company into an integrated and holistic energy provider to Sharjah and the UAE as a whole. SNOC’s open exhibit at ADIPEC is proof of the company’s growing presence in the UAE.
