Australia-listed Petsec Energy’s Middle East subsidiary has opened a new branch office in Dubai
The newly-opened office is expected to support the company’s operational expansion in the MENA markets, said Petsec Energy (Middle Eastern) Limited.
The office will be located in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lake Towers, added the Australian exploration company.
Chairman and managing director Terry Fern said, “The Dubai office provides a central location in the MENA region and will be the locus for the implementation of the company’s strategy to build a significant business in the MENA region.”
Petsec Energy’s first acquisition in MENA is an interest in Block 7 in Yemen’s Al Barqa Permit, which includes the undeveloped Al Meashar oil discovery and a material prospect and lead inventory.
