Oman Oil Marketing Company helps SMEs to grow businesses

Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) has announced that it is providing local start-ups with the chance to sell their products at its fuel stations

Offering retail space at Ahlain Stores, Car Care and Café Amazon shops across the sultanate, the move comes as part of the company’s commitment to enriching local businesses and empowering the local community, while offering an all-round appealing experience to its customers.

Hussain Jama Bait Ishaq, acting CEO and general manager – National Retail at Oman Oil Marketing Company, said, “Our mission is all about adding value beyond our regular service offerings and promoting the spirit of innovation. There is a huge pool of talent among Omani businesspeople, and by offering them this opportunity, we are not only providing them with a route to the market, but we’re personalising the whole service station experience and adding appeal to our own service portfolio.”

In effort to support economic diversification, the growth of local businesses, and build long-term partnerships with a variety of SMEs through its operations and CSR programmes, OOMCO has provided young Omani business people the opportunity to operate in 19 Ahlain stores, 16 Car Care service centers, along with 13 of OOMCO’s transporting companies.

As one Oman’s top oil marketing companies, OOMCO is dedicated to promoting In-Country Value through other programmes such as Tasweik, a collaboration with Al Raffd Fund which focuses on strengthening the branding arms of SMEs, and Hirfati, which empowers Oman’s craftspeople in digital marketing.
