Innovations from Saudi Aramco, BP Oman and NET Power have been named winners in this year’s ADIPEC Awards
Mubadala Petroleum has been recognised for its social contribution and a young Saudi Aramco engineer, Shamael Al-Shuhail, has been named Young ADIPEC Engineer of the Year
Announced on 12 November, the ADIPEC Awards celebrate achievement and accomplishment in the industry and recognise the leading companies, individuals, initiatives, projects and technologies that have displayed a level of excellence on an international scale.
Across six award categories, companies are given an opportunity to be recognised, and ultimately awarded, for their accomplishments within the areas of research, technological innovation, digital transformation, performance and efficiency, social contributions, personal achievement and business progression.

The ADIPEC Awards received 488 entries from 33 countries, showcasing the international appeal of the Awards.
Entries were evaluated by the ADIPEC Awards Jury, composed of 34 leading energy experts from across the industry, including from National Oil Companies (NOCs), International Oil Companies (IOCs) and academic institutions. Dr Saif Sultan Al Nasseri, CEO, ADNOC Gas Processing is the 2018 Awards Chairman.
