UAE-based global bunker supplier Gulf Petrochem has announced that it will begin offering bunkers at the port of Khor Fakkan
With Gulf Petrochem’s existing storage terminals in Fujairah and bunker barges, the expansion would allow the group to provide its customers with a wider portfolio of marine fuel products such as RMG 380, RME 180, MGO DMA and LSMGO.
Gulf Petrochem group director Prerit Goel said, “We know that the market situation is volatile. However it has always been a strategic objective of the group to be able to offer bunker supplies to our customers out of our terminal in Fujairah, which is one of the most important bunkering ports in the world.
“We remain largely unaffected by price volatility due to prudent risk management practices and our diverse presence across the oil supply chain. This expansion further compliments our strategy to enhance our standing as a global conglomerate operating in the oil space.”
According to the company, it was also expanding its presence in bunker supply locations across the world, including Gulf of Kutch, Indian ports of Kandla, Sikka and Vadinar. There are also plans to expand its bunkering ports in the Gulf of Khambat as part of the PipavavOil Terminal Project, Gulf Petrochem added.
