Turkish construction firm EİD İnşaat has announced that it will build a 120km pipeline for ExxonMobil in Iraq
The contract is worth for US$90mn, according to the company.
The pipeline is reportedly an advanced engineering project that is used for drilling oil via high water pressure and is expected to be complete in a year.
Bora Can Yıldız, chairman of EİD İnşaat, said, “It is a privilege to carry out a project for ExxonMobil. We have completed the contract and technical procedures.”
Yıldız added that there was also an 85km-long pipeline project under-construction in the country.
