Chinese firm to supply steel pipes for Saudi Aramco dredging project

China’s Ningbo Zhehua Heavy Steel Pipe Manufacturing has signed a contract to supply 3,000 metric tonnes of large diameter submerged arc straight seam welded pipes for dredging project to Saudi Aramco

Ningbo Zhehua Heavy Steel Pipe Manufacturing is a subsidiary firm of Sutor. The company manufactures high-end finished steel products and welded steel pipes that are used in a variety of downstream applications.

Sutor CEO Lifang Chen said, “The products to be supplied under this contact are all high valued welded pipes that meet American Petroleum Institute standards. We are proud of Ningbo Zhehua Heavy Steel Pipe Manufacturing’s advanced technologies, which enables us to supply steel pipes for national projects both in China and aboard.

The manufacturer of steel products expects to complete product delivery by April 2015.
