Fluenta announces new partnership with Optima Global Energy

Gas

Fluenta, an ultrasonic measurement and management technology provider for the oil and gas and chemical processing industries, has announced a partnership with Optima Global Energy (OGE)

OGE will represent Fluenta’s gas measurement technology throughout Algeria, according to a statement released by Fluenta.

Algeria is an OPEC member rich in natural resources with the world’s tenth largest proven natural gas reserves. It is the sixth-largest gas exporter and has the third-largest proven shale gas reserves. It also ranks seventeenth in proven oil reserves.

Kevin Spiess, sales director for EMEA and APAC at Fluenta, said, “Algeria holds enormous potential for Fluenta. The tightening of environmental regulation in the country and its investment in environmental controls is resulting in a buoyant market for our products. Our partnership with OGE will allow us much greater penetration in this key market.”

Lies Stoutah, managing director of OGE, added, “OGE have a business unit very focused on flaring. The Algerian market is crying out for a new solution to help manage flare gas emissions and we are certain Fluenta’s products will be very well received in the market”.

Fluenta was founded in 1985 and serves the markets of chemicals, petrochemicals and oil and gas. The company originated from Norway and has offices around the world with a regional office for the Americas in Houston, Texas.
