Foster Wheeler’s Global Engineering and Construction (E&C) Group subsidiary has been awarded a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract by Aramco Overseas Company (AOC) for a gas compression project in Saudi Arabia
The Switzerland-based engineering and construction company would be responsible for developing a FEED package for AOC’s Master Gas System Expansion on a fast-track basis, initially for two compressor stations. The contract value has not yet been disclosed.
AOC added that it plans to develop up to three additional compressor stations in a subsequent phase of this expansion.
Umberto della Sala, chief operating officer of Foster Wheeler, said, “Foster Wheeler is very pleased to be awarded further work for Saudi Aramco subsidiary.
