Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has stated that the firm aims to produce 1.1 million barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) per day this year.
Raoul Restucci, PDO managing director, said Oman's largest oil and gas producer plans to raise its production to 1.2 million BOE per day by 2014, reported Muscat Daily.
"Our plan is to consistently deliver 1.1 million BOE a day over the next three years and then to increase it to 1.2 million BOE a day by 2014-15," Restuci said.
PDO currently produces around 550,000 barrels of oil a day and 100,000 barrels of condensates.
