US-based flow equipment products provider Cameron has been awarded a contract to supply equipment worth US$100 million by the Rumaila Operating Organisation (ROO) in Iraq
As per the contract, Cameron will provide equipment for new wells and rehabilitation of existing wells of ROO, along with the associated aftermarket services for the next three years.
Cameron president and chief executive officer Jack Moore said, "We are proud to be an integral part of the Rumaila development. We will be supporting this important contract with parts, service, equipment storage and deployment from our new Iraq facility."
ROO is a joint venture between the state-owned South Oil Company (SOC), BP and the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) to manage the 20-year rehabilitation and expansion of Rumaila oil field in southern Iraq.
