He highlights how the unique combination of SLB’s separation technologies and production chemistries capabilities provides for optimised solutions, and how SLB is applying digitalisation to capture data to enhance the performance of equipment in the field. He also comments on how its solutions are helping clients in the Middle East, where water cuts and debottlenecking challenges are increasing.

 

Dmitry Shubenok, general manger North Side, and Aleksandr Dolgich, senior data scientist, North Side, speak about how the company’s production logging tools are enhancing reservoir performance and well integrity, helping clients to increase oil production and reduce costs and emissions. Its latest innovations include its spinnerless technology which provides accurate and reliable data, new corrosion logging tool, and suite combining the spectral noise logging tool with the new corrosion logging tool, which provides the ultimate solution for accuracy and integrity. The next step will be to integrate AI and machine learning, with the aim of having an AI assistant to its services within the next five to 10 years. Based in Oman, North Side currently operates in 13 countries and is looking to expand further.

 

Adam Stephenson, General Manager, Middle East at AkzoNobel, discusses the company's newly-launched Chartek ONE passive fire protection solution for nearshore and offshore assets, which is set to be one of the company's flagship products. Stephenson outlines Chartek ONE's market-leading properties, explaining that it is mesh-free and can provide savings of up to 59% in application time. Chartek has been used throughout the Middle East in its previous iterations for 40-50 years.
