Winners of the ADIPEC Excellence in Energy Awards announced

The Excellence in Energy Awards took place last night with companies and developers receiving accolades recognising their contribution to promoting excellence within the industry.




The 2010 ADIPEC awards, of which ExxonMobil is a signature sponsor and Kallman Worldwide is sponsor of welcome reception, are dedicated to furthering energy leadership in Abu Dhabi and recognising the highest standards of good practice and industry contribution to the energy sector and setting an example for the rest of the industry.

 

The ceremony is now in its third year and took place at the Fairmont Bab al Bahr hotel. The event was well attended and saw leading industry professionals celebrating excellence within the industry.
The awards were judged by an experienced panel of senior industry peers from ADCO, Arab Development COMPAny, BASF, ExxonMobil and Ernst & Young.

The AWARDS were presented to companies and individuals who had made a major contribution to the industry, with categories including HSE Project of the Year, which was given to QP Shell, Best Innovation or Technology, won by Saudi Aramco, Project of the Year, won by ADCO (CO2) and one of the new awards of Energy Company of the Year, which Saudi Aramco won.
