Total will be the innovative energy partner of the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) 2014 that will be held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in the UAE
The French company said that a delegation of more than 30 company representatives will attending WFES 2014 from 20-22 January and the event is expected to attract an estimated 26,000 attendees.
Total has been supporting WFES since its inception in 2008 and is a platinum sponsor of this year’s event, which will be held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
Hatem Nuseibeh, president of Total UAE, said, “This year, Total will celebrate 75 years of presence in Abu Dhabi and we are, indeed, very pleased to start 2014 with this strong presence and visibility at this seventh edition of WFES”.
Total will showcase its industry-leading technologies in renewable energy on its stand.
Bernard Clément, senior vice-president at New Energies, Total, will address the business conference on Day Three, sharing his views with delegates on ‘Transforming the Energy Mix’.
SunPower, an affiliate of Total and solar energy leader offering solutions, will also showcase its advanced photovoltaic (PV) solutions on the Total stand.
Among the technologies on display will be a mock-up of SunPower’s new robotic cleaning technology, capable of reducing water usage and improving the Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE).
Matthew Campbell, senior director, Power Plant Products for SunPower, would offer his perspective on Solar Energy Projects Technology and Finance. He is also expected to be present the innovative SunPower Oasis Power Block with Integrated Robotic Cleaning System, during a Tech Talk on Day Two.
Total will be exhibiting on Booth 210 in Hall A at WFES 2014.
