The Oman Petroleum and Energy Show (OPES) will be rescheduled from 13-15 September 2021 to 21-23 March 2022
Preparations for the inaugural edition of OPES are going exceptionally well, with the event being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals. OPES will include an international exhibition and a diverse technical programme highlighting key technical areas like EOR/IOR, offshore and marine, and gas development.
We are excited to host OPES in September 2021, due to the likelihood that the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre would still be serving as one of the main venues for the mass national vaccination campaign, the decision to reschedule the event has become necessary and has been made in consultation with local ministries, key partners and stakeholders.
Oman is returning to normality, as shown by the recent resumption of commercial activities and social
functions. We anticipate a further easing of holding exhibitions and conferences, and travel restrictions internationally, making it significantly easier for participants to travel to Oman.
We are confident that working towards a move to the March 2022 dale will allow us to maximise in-person attendance and to deliver OPES in a safe and strong environment.
We thank you for your commitment and continued support towards the success of OPES. Your participation remains valid tor the 2022 dates of OPES.
We look forward to your strong participation at OPES, and to welcoming you in the Sultanate of Oman from 21-23 March 2022.
