Middle East Geosciences Conference and Exhibition postponed to October 2021

Event News

The 14th Middle East Geosciences Conference and Exhibition (GEO), previously scheduled for 14-17 September 2020 in Bahrain, has been postponed until 4-7 October 2021

The organiser, Informa Markets, in consultation with the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, have agreed to move GEO to October 2021.

The organisers stated that safeguarding the health, safety and well-being of all participants remains the top priority.

They also consulted with major stakeholders and believe this new date provides an excellent opportunity to position the event at a time of year when the weather allows it to continue hosting field trips and enhancing the student-faculty participation.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this postponement may have caused and would like to thank you for your patience and support. We wish to assure you that your participation is still valid for the new October 2021 dates, and we very much look forward to welcoming you then,” the organisers added.

For 26 years, the GEO exhibition and conference has been at the forefront of petroleum geoscience.

GEO has fast become a next generation energy event, hosting major NOCs, IOCs, manufacturers, technology providers and service companies – all of whom play an active role in the global energy value chain.
