LEWAS 2020 announced the winners and runners up for this year’s awards on 28 October during the LEWAS Virtual Awards and Symposium ceremony

Academic Achievement for University Student Award Category

Winner: Ibtisam Mohammed, University of Bahrain

Runner-up: Aimen Nasir, University of Bahrain

Academic Achievement for University Professor/Researcher Award Category

Winner: Prof. Suzana Nunes, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST)
