p>The organizers for the 2011 Basra and Baghdad Oil & Gas events have announced that the shows have now been officially endorsed by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil.
The announcement was made by Mr. Ahmed Al-Shamma, Deputy Minister for Refining and Gas Processing, who cited the past success of first Basra Oil & Gas event as a reason why the ministry had decided to officially support the 2011 events.
The Oil ministry will also be participating in the Basra and Baghdad Oil & Gas shows and will have a high profile presence at both the Basra and Baghdad events.
The events will cover a wide range of topics and will look at both the upstream and downstream sectors. The event will be a great opportunity for companies to look at the investment and EPC opportunities in the country's growing hydrocarbon industry.
The Baghdad Oil & Gas will be held on 2-5 October 2011, while the Basra Oil & Gas will run from 25-28 November 2011.
