IDOC 2011 to look at DOF practices in the Gulf

Recent independent market research has identified the Middle East as having the fastest digital oilfield adoption (DOF) rate.

Consequently, it is the fastest growing and most dynamic market for related services and IDOC 2011 (International Digital Oilfield Conference) is now the only international meeting this year featuring current and future DOF activities and possibilities here in the Middle East.

The conference programme features 11 presentations from the region's NOCs' on current and future DOF plans that were selected by 22 members of IDOC Advisory Committee. Additionally, delegates may choose from the two pre-conference workshops, both of which have free admission.

The intention is that after attending the workshop of their choice, delegates will be able to return to their companies equipped with a better understanding of how DOF can improve their exploration and production plans and operations.
