p>H.H. Prince Thunayan Bin Saud, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu, SABIC and Marafiq has confirmed his participation at Saudi Arabias Petrochem Arabia conference and exhibition this October.
His Highness will be among a number of key speakers delivering an opening speech as well as participating in the exhibition opening tour, which also includes the likes of Abdulaziz Al-Judaimi, Vice President of Chemicals from Saudi Aramco.
The confirmation of one of the most powerful decision makers in the global downstream industry will no doubt bring even more attention to the bi-annual petrochemical event.
The conference, which this year is focusing on Creating Value Downstream, will discuss on the emergence of local petrochemical convertors within the region, as well as key sessions on creating value by developing intermediate and speciality petrochemical products.
The exhibition is an international meeting place for the global downstream industry. Sub-sectors such as petrochemical developers, construction, procurement, engineering, shipping and transportation and more will all be well represented at the exhibition.
PetroRabigh, who will be heavily involved in both the conference and the exhibition as gold sponsor, have recently announced they estimate $6-8 billion worth of contracts available for the planned expansion of their sprawling Rabigh II petrochemical plant in Jubail.
Contracts such as these are expected to be won and announced over the three days of business from 9-11 October.
