TMK is Russia’s largest manufacturer and exporter of steel pipes and ranks among the global top three pipe producers. TMK plants produce almost the entire range of existing pipes used in the oil and gas sector including but not limited to API/ premium casing/ tubing, line pipes, industrial pipes, welded pipes, seamless pipes as well as provide anti-corrosion coating for various types of pipes.
EPC contract
In a statement of confidence, Emdad LLC has been selected by one of the top oil & gas companies in the UAE as the principal EPC - Engineering, Procurement and Construction- Contractor for its Cathodic Protection on wellhead systems requirements. EMDAD recently completed a similar scope for the same client.
According to the contract, Emdad will be the EPC Contractor for the entire project which includes Cathodic Protection and construction site survey, detailed engineering design, material and equipment procurement, construction installation, pre-commissioning/commissioning as built drawings and hand over to the client. There are approximately 194 wells of various categories such as oil producers, gas producers, gas injectors, water supply, water injectors, water disposal and reservoir observation wells that require Cathodic Protection of various configurations. There is a provision in the contract for an optional third year for approximately 114 additional wells. The wells to be protected are spread over a number of operating fields.
