For the first time at ADIPEC, Business France is launching an award competition to showcase the latest and most advanced French technologies leading the industry into the future of oil and gas: sustainability, digitalisation, efficiency, to reward and celebrate the companies that contribute to embed innovation into every part of the oil and gas operations.
The selection will be made by leading members of the oil and gas industry in the Middle East: ADNOC, TOTAL, TROUVAY CAUVIN, EVOLEN, IFPen. The most innovative and promising French company will be granted by an award ceremony, on 12 November on the French pavilion –Hall 9 (9256).
Frederic Szabo, managing director, Business France Middle East, commented, “The oil and gas construction projects planned in the GCC are expected to pledge US$660bn by 2025, including US$29.6bn for the UAE, with US$3.7bn injected into the expansion of the Upper Zakum deposit, the second-largest in Abu Dhabi and the fourth largest in the world. These are just some of the opportunities prompting French companies to participate in this international exhibition.”
This year, the French exhibitors at ADIPEC will represent a full range of activities in the sector and put the spotlight on France’s research and technological expertise. The business service and consulting sector will be well represented with companies providing expert skills to tap the full potential of oil and gas fields using 3D models and simulations.
Specialised products, equipment and services for the oil and gas sector will also be introduced: focusing in the treatment of metals and high-performance components for the oil and gas, the manufacture of industrial valves, oil and marine products in corrosion-resistant alloys, designing and manufacturing pressure transmitters, accident and leak prevention on infrastructures, will all be showing their expertise at ADIPEC.
