OpenField announces commercial sales of micro-recorder for hydraulic fracturing

OpenField, a new startup specialised in the conception, production and commercialisation of wireless micro-sensors for the oil and gas industry, has announced the launch of its new pressure and temperature micro-recorder for hydraulic fracturing

The gauge, which fits in the palm of your hand, offers well operators superior downhole data in an industry where accurate information can save lives and earn millions in profits for well owners and operators.

With this launch, OpenField announces its entrance on the oil and gas instrumentation marketing, promising well owners and operators superior data downhole metrology.

OpenField Technology is a French technology startup specializing in harsh environment R&D based on proprietary MEMS micro sensing technologies. OpenField develops micro instruments measuring temperature and pressure up to 200°C and 30.000 psi.

Founded by CEO Eric Donzier after 20 years with Schlumberger, OpenField also offers expert consulting for harsh environment instrumentation.
