Petrofac Training Services acquires energy industry e-learning provider Oilennium

Petrofac-eLearningPetrofac Training Services (PTS), a supplier of training and consultancy solutions to the energy industry, has acquired specialist e-learning provider Oilennium

UK-based PTS, specialises in the identification of areas within oil and gas workforces where competence can be developed and enhanced, then in turn designs and delivers comprehensive training solutions to address identified areas.

A statement from PTS said that developing an e-learning capability is a key priority for PTS and the acquisition of Oilennium Ltd will enable the company to deliver a cost-effective and differentiated offering to its customers.

Commenting on the acquisition, Paul Groves, managing director, Petrofac Training Services said, “We are delighted to welcome Oilennium to the Petrofac organisation. It is our intent to become the leader in delivering blended learning to the global oil and gas industry and this acquisition gives Petrofac the final piece of the jigsaw in providing this capability.”
